Mom's having a procedure done today.
Recently we found out that she STILL has not been put on the transplant list like we had expected...
Her insurance company said that they will not pay unless she has an Angiogram done.
This is where they basically check her heart out to check that she will be able to withstand a surgery, if given a liver.
So, fingers crossed that everything comes back okay so she can finally get on that list.
Every day is a new day for mom.
I saw her this past weekend and she looks tired. Her jaundice has really affected her body. I can barely see a white spot in her eyes now from all the yellowing.
Her skin tone has gotten very dark and brown.... something mom has never really been.
Her mouth is constantly dry as well. It causes her discomfort when her lips get stuck to her teeth.
It's an ongoing battle, that's for sure.
Just wanted to let everyone know we appreciate the continued support and prayers as she fights this battle.
